There is algae on the sides but the water is crystal clear and I've learned that the overwintering frogs, tadpoles and dragonflies bury themselves in that gross stuff on the bottom, so it stays.<br />I'm glad you found out about the clever horse in time so that there were no injuries, I shudder to think what could have happened myself. <br />I love that $30 daylily!
