Waiting

Is it Spring yet?

I am getting ready.  Elaine at Rosebank Ramblings wrote this week about sweet peas. Hers were so pretty I was inspired to by some sweet pea seeds today and some zinnias seeds, too, as I browsed the the fruits and veggies in the super market.

Then the cut hydrangea called to me: "Take us home with you."  So I did.

The cut little curly chicks called out too.

At Big Lots, a favorite bargain spot,  I found new gardening gloves and don't you love the rubber clogs that I found at Jo Ann's?

Spring is just weeks away. Patience, my dears. Patience.

Have a happy weekend.

  4. I love your display, Ann. You have inspired me to start decorating the house for Easter! By the way, that vase of yours is gorgeous and I believe it would be quite pricey at the Antique store!! Also I have been thinking of planting sweet peas and zinnias, too. I have good luck with zinnias, but have never tried sweet peas in Florida.

  10. Patience, Patience, just keep repeating that for me please! Your seed packets, gardening clogs, hydrangeas all just make me want to grow something besides mold in the refrigerator! Those cute little chicks would be something Max would love to chew on too! Have a great evening!

  13. Hi Ann,

This is a great gardening vignette! I must tell you that I do love Sweet Peas and Zinnias, but I've never tried planting them from seed. I'm going to have to try it. I had a wonderful flower and herb garden at our first home, and I found Zinnia plants a the garden shop. Those I can do. :)

I want to thank you for your comments you left on my Reynolda Gardens post last week. I'm sorry I'm so late to reply, but I've had kind of a rough week. Nothing serious; I'm sure next week will be better.

Hope you have a great weekend!
